Our Mission
Built for Writers Who Refuse to Be Quiet
MyRPW was founded in 2024 by a group of longtime roleplay writers who were tired of platforms that sanitized their stories, limited their characters, and buried their communities under algorithm-driven noise.
We built something different: a platform that respects the intelligence of its writers, the complexity of mature storytelling, and the deep human need to explore darkness through fiction.
What We Believe
Dark fiction is not dangerous — it is necessary. The greatest literature in human history explores violence, cruelty, moral failure, and the abyss. Roleplay writing is no different. It is collaborative storytelling at its most intimate.
We believe that writers deserve a space where their characters can be flawed, their stories can be dark, and their creativity can be fully realized — without arbitrary restrictions or content policing driven by corporate fear.
Who We Are
We are a small, independent team of writers and engineers. We don't have investors to answer to, advertisers to appease, or shareholders demanding sanitized content. We answer to our community — and our community demands quality, freedom, and craft.
MyRPW is and will remain ad-free, algorithm-free, and writer-first. Every decision we make is filtered through a single question: does this make writing better?
