A MYRPW Character sheet has more fields than a typical social profile, and every one of them exists so a writing partner can decide, before messaging you, whether your story is a fit for theirs.
Identity fields
Name, tagline, and bio work the way you’d expect — but treat the tagline as a one-line pitch, not a name subtitle. “Exiled court mage, currently pretending to be a merchant” tells a reader more in ten words than a generic descriptor does.
Setting fields
Universe is where your character’s world lives — even a single sentence (“contemporary Earth, no fantasy elements”) saves a partner from guessing. If your character belongs to an existing World on MYRPW, name it here.
Roleplay-specific fields
- RP genre and favorite genres — tag both the genre this character is built for and any others you’re open to
- Preferred RP style — para, multi-para, or whatever pacing you actually write in
- RP experience — how long you’ve been writing this kind of character, so pacing expectations line up
- Status — Open, Busy, or Away; keep this current, it’s the first thing partners check
- Languages — which languages you write in
Depth fields
Age, personality, role, abilities, and story history are where the character actually comes alive. None of them are required to start writing, but a thin profile is the most common reason a good-faith partner passes over a character search result.
Media
Add a profile image and cover, then a gallery when you have more art or references to share. A 3D avatar (built on the VRM format) is optional and separate from your 2D profile image.
One more thing: relationships
Once you have more than one Character, or your character has met others in a shared World, link those connections under Relationships — allies, rivals, family, whatever fits the story.
